PayPerPost (one way you can grow blog traffic) is at again, this time promising some big news that will be released in the next few weeks. The question is: What could it be? A new mind control device? The answer to cold fusion? Perhaps a new race of super beings that are the next step in human evolution? Who knows, however I do have my own theory which I shall now subject you too: I think they are expanding their network. This is a little vague, but I think they could do it in one of the following ways:

1.) Absorbing or Partnering with a competitor, thus increasing their network automatically.
2.) Starting a new site, maybe tailored at a specific set of bloggers and advertisers. They could end up segmenting the two sites by PR, Alexa, traffic, or even subject matter.
3.) Partnering with an internet giant such as Google. I hold this one to be the least likely, but Google seems to have their paws in everything these days so I wouldn’t discount it.

Whichever one it is, I think it’s going to be a big step for the company. I’ll stay tuned and let you know what the end result is, unless of course I’m wrong in which case….you don’t need to know.
