Bathroom Quirks that Drive You Crazy
In the bathroom as we’re both “hard at work”….
Random work guy: “Hey, how’s it going?”
Me: “…..good…”
Random work guy: “Yeah, so, what a day, huh? Pretty busy.”
Me: “…yeah…”
Random work guy: “So what are you doing this weekend?”
Me: *sigh*
Does this sound familiar? This might be one of things that bother me the most when I’m in the bathroom “taking care of business”: The guy who constantly talks to you. To clarify a bit, I don’t mind if I’m just entering or leaving, or even washing my hands. I’ll chat up a storm with you, we can talk about your entire family if really want to. Other than those times, I’m just not up for a wild conversation.
Another quirk that drives me nuts is when people have an entire conversation on their cell phone in the bathroom. Just one question: What the hell is up with that? Just taking a wild guess here, but I’m going to assume that the person who called would understand if you:
1.) Didn’t answer because you were in the bathroom.
2.) Answered but said “Hey, can I call you back in a few minutes?
Not only is it uncomfortable for the other people in the restroom, if the person on the other end of the line knew where you were, I’m sure they wouldn’t be thrilled either. The morale of the story? Keep the cell phone in your freaking pants.
These two quirks really annoy me, what quirks can’t you stand in the office bathroom? For that matter, what other places in the office do you see annoying behavior that you just can’t stand?
