You would think with the advent of the computer, and with so many people working with electronic documents now, that spellchecking would be second nature to most professionals.  Sadly, this is not the case, and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve received an email or draft document, and had common words like “the” and “and” spelled wrong.  My tip, just take the extra second to click “Check Spelling” before sending anything out, it can only make you look better.
